เพื่อวางกลไกการสอบทานโซ่อุปทาน (Supply chain due diligence) เพื่อลดโอกาสของกลุ่มติดอาวุธและกองกำลังรักษาความปลอดภัย ในการค้าสินแร่และโลหะ ดีบุก แทนทาลัม ทังสเตน และทองคำ
- โซ่อุปทานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการนำเข้าสินแร่ หรือ โลหะ ที่มีหรือที่ประกอบด้วย ดีบุก แทนทาลัม ทังสเตน และทองคำ (3TG) (ในปริมาณสูงเกินระดับ Threshold ที่กำหนด)
- กฎหมายนี้ ครอบคลุม ผลิตผลพลอยได้จากกระบวนการหล่อหลอมแร่/โลหะที่เกี่ยวข้อง แต่ไม่ครอบคลุม โลหะที่เกี่ยวข้อง ที่ได้มาจากการรีไซเคิล
- ข้อกำหนดด้านการจัดระบบเพื่อการสอบทาน Supply chain ตามที่กฏหมายกำหนด และก่ารเก็บเอกสาร/หลักฐาน
- ข้อกำหนดด้านการตรวจติดตาม (Third-party audits)

- ตรวจสอบ โรงถลุง/โรงหลอมที่ผ่านการสอบทานได้ที่เว็บไซด์ http://www.responsiblemineralsinitiative.org/
- วางแผน & ดำเนินการเพื่อตอบสนองกับความเสี่ยงที่ประเมินได้
- จัดให้มีการตรวจประเมิน การสอบทาน Supply chain โดย บุคคลที่สาม (independent third-party audit of supply chain due diligence)
- รายงานผลการสอบทาน supply chain due diligence ทุกปี
